Pete Winkelman launches Intus Artisan Market

Milton Keynes’ most inspirational entrepreneur, Pete Winkelman, launched the intu Milton Keynes Artisan Market this weekend. 

Created from a collection of local independent businesses, the Artisan Market gives small businesses, and the entrepreneurs behind them, the chance to showcase their products to thousands of ‘high street’ shoppers. From handstitched one-off clothing pieces to locally brewed organic beers, the market features over 30 different businesses all week and until it closes on Sunday 4 June. 

Pete Winkelman, Chairman of the MK Dons and an icon in the business community joined intu Milton Keynes’s general manager Shelley Peppard on Sunday, she said: “Pete is such an inspiration for so many people and a wonderful example of a successful local businessman. Like Pete, the market is full of successful and up-and-coming local business people, each with their unique products and services that we’re very proud to support and wish then all the success in the future.” 

The Artisan Market will be open at the following times:

Monday to Wednesday: 10am until 5pm

Thursday to Friday: 10am until 8pm

Saturday: 10am until 7pm

Sunday: 11am until 5pm
